Once a certain number, color, or suit appears, players have to make a movement accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb3\/1\/16\/1f913.png\" alt=\"\ud83e\udd13\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\">Grading the activity:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb4\/1\/16\/2b50.png\" alt=\"\u2b50\ufe0f\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\">Easy: Choose either a number, color, or suit to act on. E.g. Slap the cards whenever a &#8220;heart&#8221; appears.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb4\/1\/16\/2b50.png\" alt=\"\u2b50\ufe0f\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb4\/1\/16\/2b50.png\" alt=\"\u2b50\ufe0f\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\">Intermediate: Choose 2 of the 3 categories, or 2 items in the same category, to act on. E.g. Slap the cards whenever a &#8220;5&#8221; or a &#8220;red&#8221; appears; Touch nose when &#8220;5&#8221; appears, and pat on knees when &#8220;7&#8221; appears.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb4\/1\/16\/2b50.png\" alt=\"\u2b50\ufe0f\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb4\/1\/16\/2b50.png\" alt=\"\u2b50\ufe0f\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb4\/1\/16\/2b50.png\" alt=\"\u2b50\ufe0f\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\">Difficult: Set up different rules for each round, so the kids can practice alternating attention and flexibility. E.g. Slap the cards whenever a &#8220;5&#8221; or a &#8220;red&#8221; appears in this round. Next round, only slap when &#8220;black&#8221; or &#8220;2&#8221; appears.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t7c\/1\/16\/1f9e0.png\" alt=\"\ud83e\udde0\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\">Benefits:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Improve sustained attention. Holding and maintaining their focus on the cards and reacting to them can help children strengthen the concentration needed for learning.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Improve alternating attention.
